Tight and Bright

Thursday night brought with it Nic Green, Rory and Matt Hoffmeyers farewell. And what a party it was. The theme was Tight an Bright and this is a Pic of our house, Ted the otherd chap in the Photo is hopefully going to move in with us. He is a fellow Timbers employee.

Bruised and cold in Snowmass

So i got my new Salomon Jerkson board the other day and have been having a semi good time on it. The only problem is that you apparently have to de-tune a brand new board. I have been catching edges every five second and now look like I have been beaten by a baseball bat. Luckily got it sorted out last night and we should be cruising again.
Dave and I are sitting at work listening to 5fm on streaming audio.....oh the power of broadband. Going to watch the rugby on live feed too.

Aspen Snowmass

Well its been three weeks in the snow and we are finally getting used to the weather. It is damn cold here.
We are staying in a place called Fawn Court on Owl Creek Road. It is a huge house and there are currently 6 of us in it. The Martins were kind enough to host us and it has ended up that we will stay there till the end of our trip. the snow has been excellent, we have had about 5 powder days. The boarding is amazing here, there is so much choice. We have been hitting the park alot learning to ride the pipe and the rails. It hurts a bit but its worth it. Started landing 180's this week, finally. Next on the list is 360 hand grab... could be a month or two. Dave is cruising, he has had about 8 days on the snow and he is hitting double black diamonds.
Im haning so thats it for today.
