Snow on Toorberg

Who needs Aspen when you have snow like this at your front door? This was on may farm about 3 weeks ago. Awesome snow covered the whole farm. 3 inches at the front door and about a foot and a bit on the mountains. It was beautiful. So glad i was there to see it!



 

Hunting at the Roux's

Went on the Annual Roux Hunt. Great fun, not so great shooting but here are some of the proud hunters. If they have blood all over their faces....they just shot their fisrt buck!

Back on the Farm

So I have been back in South Africa for about 2 months and loving it. There is no place like home. Spent a bit of time in Cape Town catching up with my friends and doing some drinking. Then I set off for the farm with my ever willing companion Dave. Had a great time, did some hunting and fixed the Land Rover. And it was pretty cold too.
